Peter Morris is Professor and Head of Construction and Project Management at University College London. He is the leading proponent of the management of projects perspective see The Wiley Guide to Managing Projects (2005); The Management of Projects (1994) and The Anatomy of Major Projects (1987). He has also worked on project strategy and project-based learning and is currently researching the project front-end and leadership in the built environment circa 2050. He is the author of over 110 papers, co-editor of The Oxford Handbook on Project Management (2010), and is currently writing Reconstructing Project Management (2013) Previously Chairman of the APM, he is an (Honorary) Fellow of APM, a Fellow of the Institution of Civil Engineers and of the Chartered Institute of Building. He received PMIs 2005 Research Achievement Award, IPMAs 2009 Research Award, and APMs 2008 Life-Time Achievement Award. He is being awarded best paper in IJMPB for 2010.
