Mano Nugapitiya

Endstate Pty Ltd

Mano Nugapitiya is a project management practitioner with approximately 20 years experience in major projects predominantly in Australia. Through his experiences on large and complex projects such as the Sydney 2000 Olympics Infrastructure Development, the Sydney Airport Expansion, he developed an interest in the soft skills of project management, particularly human interaction. During his role as the project manager on the Alpine Way Reconstruction in Thredbo, Australia following the 1997 landslide, Mano applied an auto-ethnographic approach to gain interesting insights into human interaction. Currently Mano is a Director at EndState Pty Ltd, a management consultancy firm he helped start up some 9 years ago. He is an Honorary Associate of the University of Technology Sydney. Mano is also a Committee Member of Regional Development Australia, Greater Sydney, an Australian Government initiative aimed at bringing together people and information to influence government decision making for the sustainable and economic development of Sydney.
